House Bill 1499: Advancing Fairness in Pennsylvania Child Custody Laws

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025 the DRC joined leading parent advocates like Robert Garza and Mark Ludwig, concerned fathers and mothers, and other state legislators at the Pennsylvania State Capitol to support Representative Jamie Flick’s Shared Parenting Bill (HB 1499) designed to ensure fairness in child custody determinations and protect every child’s right to meaningful, equal access to both parents.
