Partnering with Dads to Promote Family Wellbeing
April 21, 2020
The Partnering with Dads to Promote Family Wellbeing webinar was held on April 1, 2020. It was hosted by the Center for Schools and Communities with support from the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL).
Presenters: Larry Klinger, M.Ed, Program Supervisor Family & Community Education Services and Adult Education and Workforce Development Allegheny Intermediate Unit and Eric Marsh, Founding Member of The Fathering Circle.
Description: When programs support parents in building protective factors, families grow stronger and children benefit. Partnering with fathers intentionally, whether living with their children or not, is an important contributor to family well-being. This webinar will dig deeper into strategies for including and understanding dads. These approaches may be useful to any family support program, including but not limited to those implementing fatherhood-related curricula.
